We are currently seeking an experienced Clinical Supervisor for the Adult FSP program. The FSP program is funded by Proposition 63, the Mental Health Services Act. This FSP Program is for adults ages 26-59 who would benefit from an intensive service program for persons diagnosed with a mental illness who would like to work in partnership with a service provider team to develop and achieve individualized recovery-focused goals. Adults in this program have been challenged by homelessness, as well as frequent hospitalizations and/or incarcerations. The best candidate for this position will make it their number one priority to ensure our members are receiving the highest quality of care that can be provided.
Supervises and provides clinical oversight for the assigned FSP
staff team comprised of Clinicians and case managers. Assists them in providing
clinical direction in assisting clients to achieving program goals and in
developing recovery oriented solutions for client problems and needs.
Manages quality service delivery through monitoring to ensure
completion of all required documentation including assessment, treatment plans,
progress notes and periodic internal audits to ensure compliance with agency expectations.
Provides clinical supervision to assigned staff
Consultation with inter and intra-agency personnel.
Promote professional development.
Provide direct service as assigned.
Respond to crisis and urgent care issues twenty-four hours per
day, 7 days a week to clients in the program on a scheduled on-call rotation.
Responsible for providing clinical oversight to FSP on-call staff on a
rotational basis as directed by Program Director. Interventions should be made
in an effort to avert hospitalization and /or incarceration and promote

Currently licensed in California with the Board of Behavioral
Sciences with either an LCSW or LMFT for 2 years or more and has taken
necessary courses to provide board approved clinical supervision towards
licensure for supervisees.
Master’s degree in Social Work or related field.
Must have at least 4 years’ experience providing clinical therapy
and interventions to adults with persistent mental health issues and
Must have previous experience providing supervision and/or
management of staff.
Must be able to work in a team capacity
Must have the knowledge and experience to make minor day to day
DMH experience preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Demonstrate effective time-management skills.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent computer skills and experience using an electronic health record
Must have a valid CA driver’s license in good standing with proof of current auto insurance. Ability to pass pre-employment background check, Med/TB clearance and obtain FBI/DOJ fingerprint clearance.
